Bus Hits, Kills Bicyclist in Manhattan: Police

Police say an MTA bus struck and killed a 45-year-old bicyclist in Manhattan early Sunday.

The BX15 hit Pedro Santiago near the corner of West 125th Street and Lenox Avenue in Harlem at around 1:30 a.m., according to officials.

Santiago was lodged underneath the front of the bus and was pronounced dead after being taken to the hospital.

Police say the bus driver has not been charged but an investigation into the accident is ongoing.
