A bicyclist died after being hit by a truck in Queens early Wednesday evening, police said.
Officials said Pedro Lopez, 54, was trying to cross Borden Avenue near the intersection of Maurice Avenue when a white commercial truck hit him.
The truck driver fled the scene, police said.
Lopez was declared dead at Elmhurst General Hospital.
