Hocus Focus: Magician Guilty of Secretly Videotaping Kids

Robert Infantino, the man known as "Long Island’s Favorite Magician," pleaded guilty Thursday to charges he secretly videotaped children undressing in his home photography studio.

Infantino of Central Islip pleaded guilty to 44 counts of unlawful surveillance and 64 counts of possession of child pornography. He waived his right to appeal.

After being arrested in 2008 for secretly videotaping a mother and her two daughters as they used his studio dressing room, hundreds of images were recovered from his computer hard drive.

Judge Barbara Kahn, of Suffolk County Court, is expected to sentence Infantino for 5 to 15 years.

That is, unless he manages to make himself disappear.
