Police say a Long Island woman who hit three teens on the street Sunday night was driving while under the influence of drugs.
Suffolk County police arrested Cathleen Wild, of Lindenhurst, N.Y., who they say hit the teens on Grand Boulevard at West Sixth Street in Deer Park at about 11:45 p.m. Sunday.
A group of kids had just crossed the street when three were hit.
A 16-year-old was airlifted to the hospital and was listed in serious but stable condition. Two other teens were taken to the hospital with injuries described as non-life-threatening.
Police say Wild also had a hypodermic needle. She was expected to be arraigned Monday.
