The Amish have long been famous for barn raisings.
Now a lot of people are using them to build actual houses for them, according to the Wall Street Journal. About 600 Amish contractors work in at least a dozen states, a huge increase over the past several years.
Experts say the reason for this huge demand is that Amish contractors can erect a house faster and for less money than traditional contractors.
