After a week of massive protests in Iran over its disputed elections, top foreign policy voices hit this Sunday’s talk show circuit.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahua joins former Sens. Sam Nunn (D-Ga.) and Fred Thompson (R-Tenn.) to discuss the regional political fallout of the Iranian elections on NBC’s “Meet the Press.”
No administration officials are on the Sunday shows. But Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.), one of the President Barack Obama’s top critics on Iran, heads to CBS’s “Face the Nation” to sit down with host Bob Schieffer.
McCain will also be on "Fox News Sunday" for a special Father’s Day interview, along with Sen. Evan Bayh (D-Ind.), Rep. Pete Hoekstra (R-Mich.), Rep. Paul Ryan (R-Wis.) and the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace’s Karim Sadjadpour.
Elsewhere, Rep. Pete Stark (D-Calif.) heads to C-SPAN’s “Newsmakers” to answer questions on health care from The Hill’s managing editor, Bob Cusack, and Congressional Quarterly health care reporter Alex Wayne.
And Bloomberg’s Al Hunt lands House Minority Leader John Boehner (R-Ohio) for an interview on “Political Capital.”
