Bristol Palin to Star in Lifetime Reality Series

The show will feature the single mom and her 3-year-old son

We already know about “Sarah Palin’s Alaska” — now we’ll find out all about Bristol Palin’s offspring. The single mom is returning to reality TV with a show about her 3-year-old son, Tripp.

The young Palin, who competed on ABC’S “Dancing With the Stars” in 2010, will star in a 10-episode Lifetime reality series called “Bristol Palin: Life’s a Tripp,” Us Weekly reported.

Palin, who famously became pregnant at age 18 by ex Levi Johnston, now publicly advocates for teenage pregnancy prevention. Lifetime’s executive vice president of programming, Rob Sharenow, said the show will serve in part to set the record straight about the “misunderstood” daughter of 2008 vice presidential candidate and former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin.

"From the first moment she was thrust into the public eye, Bristol and her son have been the subjects of a huge amount of curiosity and misunderstanding,” he told Us Weekly in a statement Wednesday. “This show will reveal the real Bristol Palin and her journey as a daughter, a mother and a young woman making her way in the world.”

The network said the show will also focus on Palin's relationship with her parents and siblings, according to ABC News.

We’re already trippin’ over the docuseries, which is set to air later this year.
