Kim Kardashian posed proudly in the buff for the new issue of Harper's Bazaar, but in a new interview, the "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" star revealed she doesn't have fond memories of stripping for Playboy back in 2007.
"I'm sorry I did Playboy. I was uncomfortable," she told Harper's of the 2007 shoot; a spread that didn't reveal the star fully nude, but offered glimpses of her ample backside in some shots and, showed her covered up with just a strategically placed sheet, in others.
Kim said she remembers her mother, Kris Jenner, encouraging her to go through with it.
"'Go for it,'" Kim said her mother told her. "'They might never ask you again. Our show isn't on the air yet. No one knows who you are. Do it and you'll have these beautiful pictures to look at when you're my age.'"
As for her newest nude moment — which reveals a lot less — Kim said it was empowering.
"It's definitely scary, but it's very liberating," she said. "I think the message is embrace your curves and who you are. I feel proud if young girls look up to me and say, 'I'm curvy, and I'm proud of it now.'"
