Could Ricky Martin be making a permanent move to the Big Apple?
Could Ricky Martin be making a permanent move to the Big Apple? The pop singer and dad to twin boys is currently renting a five bedroom unit while he stars in the Broadway revival of Evita
. While the Post reports
that Martin looked at the Upper East Side's Empire and Isis buildings, he decided to settle on the 3,478-square-foot unit that is more than large enough to accommodate his three-year-old twins, Matteo and Valentino.
The condo unit, located in the Lucida building
, features five bedrooms, 5.5 bathrooms and an 800-square-foot corner living and dining room with that includes floor-to-ceiling windows. The price for the incredible condo unit is a steep $32,500 per month.
While Martin is currently renting the condo unit at the Lucida, he recently listed
his home in Miami Beach, which Jay-Z and Beyonce toured. That home is on the market for $12.5 million and should it sell, New Yorkers may be seeing much more of the "Livin' La Vida Loca" star around Manhattan.
