Could Ricky Martin be making a permanent move to the Big Apple?
Could Ricky Martin be making a permanent move to the Big Apple? The pop singer and dad to twin boys is currently renting a five bedroom unit while he stars in the Broadway revival of Evita. While the Postreports that Martin looked at the Upper East Side's Empire and Isis buildings, he decided to settle on the 3,478-square-foot unit that is more than large enough to accommodate his three-year-old twins, Matteo and Valentino.
The condo unit, located in the Lucida building, features five bedrooms, 5.5 bathrooms and an 800-square-foot corner living and dining room with that includes floor-to-ceiling windows. The price for the incredible condo unit is a steep $32,500 per month.
While Martin is currently renting the condo unit at the Lucida, he recently listed his home in Miami Beach, which Jay-Z and Beyonce toured. That home is on the market for $12.5 million and should it sell, New Yorkers may be seeing much more of the "Livin' La Vida Loca" star around Manhattan.
