Fast Food: Would You Like Fries With That Waterboarding?

"Happy Meal" has a whole new meaning when you're flipping burgers at Guantanamo Bay and the next meal could just as easily go to interrogators as it could to detainees. McDonald's is looking to hire an assistant manager for its lone Cuba-based location, and if you don't have any qualms about serving up chicken nuggets to some of the 215 captive terror suspects at the U.S. base, then this job may be for you.

Applicants must have a U.S. passport, be "willing to relocate to Cuba" and have management experience, but no special security clearances are necessary, according to the Miami Herald. But questions of how food is used in regarding to the treatment of prisoners and if it's used as part of interrogation methods are legitimate.

The fast-food chain isn't the only one on the island: There's a Pizza Hut Express, Subway, A&W, KFC and Taco Bell.  Those detainees approved by the courts are allowed to make delivery orders. And in the past food has been withheld and provided in order to elicit information. The Bush administration felt it had enough evidence to bring charges against prisoners linked to the Sept. 11 attacks after detainees provided information without being coerced and were given liberal amounts of  food and Starbucks coffee when requested. Who's to say what kind of information the promise of a Big Mac could elicit? We're not loving it.
