Whitney Houston's New Jersey estate, where she married Bobby Brown 17-years-ago, is on the market for $2.5 million. And if you buy it, she will always love you. Maybe.
The five-bedroom, 12,561-square-foot house in Mendham Township home is selling for less than half its $5.6 million assessed value. The reason for the drastically lower price is not immediately clear.
The five-bedroom home on North Gate Road has four full bathrooms, two half baths, a four-car garage and three fireplaces.
The Coldwell Banker Web site describes "bright, circular rooms and curved floor-to-ceiling windows." It estimates a buyer would have monthly mortgage payments of $10,819 based on a down payment of $500,000 and a 5 percent interest rate on a 30-year, $2 million mortgage.
Taxes will run the new buyer about $7,700 per month.
The sprawling estate, that looks a bit like a space ship from over-head, was where Whitney and Bobby married in front of 600 guests in 1992.
The star-studded guest list included singers Dionne Warwick, Gloria Estefan, Patti LaBelle, Anita Baker, Luther Vandross, Dick Clark, and Donald Trump.
Houston and Brown divorced in 2007. They have one daughter.
