You might want to think twice about that Cyclone ride next year. "The family of a California musician who snapped his neck and died in a downhill plunge on the Cyclone sued the city Wednesday for failing to keep the Coney Island roller coaster safe. Keith Shirasawa was in New York celebrating his 53rd birthday on July 31, 2007, when he decided to take a ride the 80-year-old New York landmark. Shirasawa was descending the ride's first hill when his neck snapped and he fractured several bones in his neck...He died five days later." We'll stick to the Wonder Wheel (non-swinging cars) which reminds us of happy times. [NYDN]
