New Year's Eve Just Got A Whole Lot Cheaper

Back in the good old days of Dow 14,000, spending New Year's Eve in a New York club was both a popular and expensive option.

Tickets to a promoted affair used to start at $250 a piece, with so called VIP tickets starting at two times that amount, a serious cash cow for club owners and the promoters who actually sold the tickets.

Not anymore.

Those heady days have gone the way of Lehman Brothers, as now tickets for these blow out events start below $100 (Eldridge for $85!!!), meaning that either no one wants to waste that kind of money this year, or everyone figured out that New Year's is one of the worst nights to go out and these parties just aren't worth it.

We're going with the latter. 27 days left to make your plans or be shut out forever!
