The Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree burst alive with 5 miles of LED multicolored lights and a 900-pound Swarovski crystal star in a festive extravaganza broadcast on NBC Wednesday night. A star-fueled lineup helped usher the massive Norway spruce into stardom for the holiday season, including Diana Ross, Tony Bennett, John Legend, Diana Krall, Brett Eldredge, Darci Lynne Farmer, Martina McBride, Pentatonix Kellie Pickler and Howie Mandel. Anchor Stefan Holt also reports on a move for the Fearless Girl statue, an explosion in New Jersey and a new effort to fight opioids in the Bronx.
