Plane makes emergency landing on Long Island beach

A single-engine plane made an emergency landing on a Long Island beach, surprising people gathered on the sand to watch a beautiful sunset. One of the beachgoers captured intense video showing the moment the pilot brought the plane down on Mount Sinai’s Cedar Beach — and it wasn’t the first emergency landing for the particular plane. NBC New York’s Greg Cergol reports.
