Newark says it cut homelessness by 60% in a year. Here's how they did it

In 2022, Newark embarked on a comprehensive plan to end chronic homeless. The city went from more than 3,800 unhoused people down to just over 1,600 by the end of 2023.NBC New York’s Pat Battle reports.
