DULUTH, Ga. -- For sale: the remains of an American success story gone horribly wrong.

Imprisoned NFL star Michael Vick's mansion outside Atlanta is going on the auction block.

Tuesday's sale of the three-storied house requires a minimum bid of $3.2 million. The proceeds will help pay down the former Atlanta Falcons quarterback's debts.

Throughout the house are the telltale signs of wealth and luxury -- a pool room, a movie theater, an indoor golf range, assorted-sized statues of black panthers.

It looks like something out of "Gone With The Wind," with a dash of Versailles thrown in for good measure.

The description of the eight-bedroom mansion goes like this:

"STUNNING CUSTOM HOME WITH PRICELESS LAKE VIEWS.2 STORY FOYER FEATURES DOUBLE CURVED STAIRCASE,2 STORY STUDY,MASTER W/DOUBLE SIDED FRPL.& SITTING RM,ELEVATOR,WETBAR,REC.RM,WORKOUT RM W/SAUNA,THEATRE RM,FULL BAR,LEVEL PRIVATE BACKYARD,2 OUTDOOR FRPL."

The house is s a testament to Vick's rise from the rough streets of Virginia to Virginia Tech hero to NFL superstar.

But Vick's career was sacked by a dogfighting scandal. Now he sits behind bars, serving out the remainder of a nearly two-year sentence.
