A woman was slashed across her face by a man still on the run in Brooklyn, the NYPD says.
The attack on the 31-year-old woman happened back on Feb. 3 at around 8 a.m. when the man engaged the victim in a conversation in the area of Boerum Street and White Street in Williamsburg, according to officials.
The woman tried to walk away from the man, but the suspect then slashed her in the face, police said. She was rushed to an area hospital, where she was treated for a large cut on her face.
The victim spoke to the New York Post and told the newspaper she was waiting for a Lyft when she was attacked.
No arrests have been made and investigators urge witnesses to call Crime Stoppers with tips.
