Subway service on the F and G lines has resumed in a part of Brooklyn after several manhole fires on Bergen Street forced a suspension Wednesday evening, the MTA says.
Service had been suspended on the F train between Jay Street and 4th Avenue, and on the G train between Bedford-Nostrand and Church Avenue.
It's since resumed after transit authorities were able to get a generator in place for temporary power.
It's not clear what caused the fires in the Con Edison manholes.
