Commuters on the Queens Boulevard line are in for some rush-hour headaches throughout the next three weeks.
Service on the E, F, M and R lines will be affected by maintenance work on the express track through Sept. 4.
Straphangers can expect less frequent service on those lines.
There won’t be E train service to or from the Jamaica-179th Street station. As an alternate, commuters can use the F and transfer at Kew Gardens-Union Turnpike. Some E trains will also run local from Queens Plaza to Jamaica-Van Wyck.
Some F trains will run local from 21st Street-Queensbridge to 71st Avenue.
