A man who allegedly followed a woman off a bus in Queens, then pretended to need subway directions and raped her against a car has been arrested.

Authorities said early Tuesday that Matthew Luna, 27, of Queens was taken into custody on charges of rape, stalking, criminal sex act and assault in connection with the Friday attack near 54th Street and Skillman Avenue in Woodside.

Police say Luna walked up to the 20-year-old victim after she got off the bus and asked her for directions to the 7 train, then pushed her up against a vehicle and raped her. The woman was taken to a hospital for treatment.

Cops say Luna was spotted on another city bus not long after the attack. It wasn't immediately clear if he had an attorney.
