Burned Body Found in Park ID'd as Bronx Woman

State police say a body found in a state park in the Hudson Valley was identified as a 22-year-old Bronx woman whose boyfriend fatally shot himself when troopers in Virginia tried to stop his car.

The body of Jasmine Maxine Nunez was found by firefighters called to a brush fire on June 12 at James Baird State Park in the town of Lagrange in Dutchess County. Her family reported her missing this past weekend.

Police say Nunez was last seen alive with her live-in boyfriend, 26-year-old Andres Ceballos. Police say he ran away and shot himself to death Monday after Virginia state police stopped his car on Route 58 near Emporia, Va.

State police said they will release more details on the case on Wednesday.
