Two suspects posed as door-to-door survey takers when the beat and robbed a 57-year-old Harlem man, police said.
The pair -- a man and a woman -- knocked on the victim’s door in East Harlem at about 11 p.m. on Feb. 11 and asked him to participate in a survey, authorities said.
The two suspects then walked into the apartment and started to beat the man, police said. The man woke up hours later and discovered his laptop, iPhone, watch and cash were stolen from the apartment.
He called police and was transported to Metropolitan Hospital where he was treated for head injuries, authorities said.
The two suspects are still at large, police said.
