A 28-year-old driver was stabbed multiple times in an apparent road rage dispute during the middle of the day on Thursday, police say.
It's not clear what prompted the violent confrontation on Route 4 East in Paramus around 11:30 a.m.
The victim is expected to survive.
24-year-old Christian Velez was arrested and faces charges including first-degree attempted murder and third-degree aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, prosecutors said.
