A badly beaten man found outside a home in Brooklyn has been identified and reunited with his family, police said Saturday.
The man was taken to a hospital in Brooklyn, then to a specialized hospital in Manhattan after being found unconscious outside the building on East 15th Street around 9:30 a.m. Wednesday.
Police say he was bleeding from the head and had no identification on him. He remained hospitalized Friday with brain bleeding, a nasal fracture and a broken left clavicle.
Police said he was identified but didn't release his name. He remains in the hospital, police said.
The investigation is ongoing.
