NJ Construction Worker Plunges 10 Feet Into Building Basement: Police

Authorities rescued a construction worker who plunged into the basement of a building under construction in New Jersey, police say.

The worker fell about 10 feet into the basement at the construction site near Beach and Bath avenues in Ocean Grove Thursday afternoon, Neptune Township police said. He was removed by the Neptune Special Ops Team. 

Paramedics from the Monmouth Ocean County Hospital Corporation and Neptune Township treated him for minor to moderate injuries, then transported him to Jersey Shore Medical center, according to authorities.
