A woman is fighting for her life following a brutal stabbing in the Bronx Tuesday morning, police say.
The woman was stabbed in the chest around 1 a.m. in Kingsbridge Heights after she and another woman had gotten into some sort of argument, according to police.
The boyfriend of one of the women intervened and stabbed the other woman, officials said.
She was taken to an area hospital, where she is being treated. Police said she was still alive at 2:45 a.m., but her condition was not known.
The couple quickly took off.
It was not immediately clear what led to the argument between the two women.
