A person was slashed in a subway station Sunday afternoon while waiting for the 6 train in the Bronx, police said.
The victim was in the Parkchester station shortly after 2 p.m. when a man attacked him, the NYPD said.
The attacker fled on foot out of the station, police said. He was wearing a black hat and grey hooded shirt.
The victim was taken to Jacobi Medical Center and was expected to survive.
No one has been arrested.
