A 42-year-old man who was possibly trying to break up a fight in a Brooklyn auto shop was shot Friday, police said.
The victim was in Lesly Auto Repair on Tilden Avenue near Veronica Place in Flatbush at about 4 p.m. when he was approached by the suspect and shot once in the torso, authorities said
Police believe he may have been trying to stop a fight when he was shot.
He was rushed to Kings County Hospital where he is in critical condition, police said.
The suspect fled the scene and has not been arrested.
