Man Accused of Posing as Photog, Assaulting Boy

School officials called the boy's parent after finding a check

Bail is set at $200,000 for a New Jersey man accused of posing as a magazine photographer to lure a boy into having sex.

Muborak Muhammad is charged with 2nd degree sexual assault, 2nd degree luring and 3rd degree child endangerment.

Officials say the 31-year-old Irvington resident approached the 14-year-old in a park near the high school on Jan. 9 and said he would pay to take his photos.

Muhammad is accused of sexually assaulting the boy after the photo shoot.

Prosecutors say police were tipped off when school officials called the boy's parent after learning the boy had a $2,000 check.
