No charges will be filed against the owner of a drone that crashed onto a truck driving near a refinery in New Jersey earlier this week, law enforcement sources familiar with the investigation tell NBC 4 New York.
The drone crashed on top of a truck as it drove on Park Avenue outside the Bayway Refinery in Linden early Wednesday. No injuries were reported.
Authorities did not release the identity of the drone operator.
A spokesman for the refinery said facility operations were not affected.
