A 54-year-old man was arrested on Long Island after police say he stabbed his older brother to death.
Authorities say John Beaumont called police early Saturday evening and said he'd stabbed his brother, 57-year-old Thomas Beaumont, during an argument inside their West Babylon home.
The victim was taken to Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center where he later died from his injuries.
Both brothers lived with their father, who was home at the time of the stabbing, but was not injured.
John Beaumont was arrested and charged with second degree murder. He is scheduled to be arraigned Monday.
