A Pekingese dressed in a Valentine's Day outfit was found wandering in the cold in Queens by a police officer and a veterinary technician is trying locate the dog's owner.
The pooch, whom the finders have named Valerie, was wearing a little red dress and was spotted at about 10 a.m. Saturday in the Jamaica neighborhood.
Amanda Lodato, a vet tech in Massapequa, has been caring for the dog and is hoping her owner will recognize her.
The dog has a microchip that was never registered.
