A 25-year-old Brooklyn man was caught by the seat of his pants while trying to jump through an apartment window to escape from police in Vermont, authorities say.
The man, who hasn't been identified, tried to jump out of a second-story window at the apartment in Burlington to when police came to search the building, NECN reports. Midway through the jump, however, his pants got caught, and he was stuck hanging outside the window.
Firefighters were then called to the scene and were able to free the man, who was then taken to the hospital for minor injuries.
Police said they aren't sure why the man tried to jump out of the window and that he isn't being charged with any crimes.
Another man, also from Brooklyn, was arrested on drug charges while police were searching the home.
