A box truck slammed into a pole after it swerved to avoid another car in Clifton, New Jersey, Friday morning, authorities said.
The truck was on Hazel Street at about 9 a.m. when it swerved to avoid the car and crashed into the pole.
The front of the truck was badly damaged in the collision, but the driver was able to walk away from the accident, fire officials said.
Three people were taken to the hospital to be treated for non life-threatening injuries after the collision, authorities said.
