Man Charged in String of Queens Flashings: NYPD

A Brooklyn 23-year-old has been accused of exposing himself to girls in Queens nine times in the last six months, according to the NYPD.

Christopher Carrero was charged with six charges each of public lewdness and acting in a manner injurious to a child, according to police.

Carrero's arrest comes after a man on a bicycle flashed 10 girls between 11 and 15 years old in Ridgewood, Maspeth and Glenwood between May 11 and Thursday.

Authorities said the suspect approached his victims and said something to get their attention -- sometimes asking for a piece of paper -- before exposing himself. Afterward, he rode off on a bicycle.

On Thursday, authorities said the man exposed himself to three girls in the span of five minutes.

It's unclear if Carrero could face additional charges, or if he had an attorney who could comment on his behalf.
