Three separate shootings overnight across New York City killed one person and injured two others, police said Saturday.
In Queens, police found a 38-year-old man shot in the torso on 146th Terrace in Springfield Garden shortly after 1 a.m., the NYPD said. He was pronounced dead at Jamaica Hospital.
No one has been arrested and the investigation is ongoing.
In East Harlem, a 24-year-old man was shot on East 119th Street shortly after midnight, police said. He was expected to survive his injuries.
Two assailants in that shooting escaped.
In the Bronx, a 22-year-old man was shot just before midnight on Richman Plaza in the Morris Heights neighborhood, he said. He was also expected to survive his injuries.
The attacker, reportedly wearing a red hooded sweatshirt, escaped.
