Police are searching for a hit-and-run driver in Queens after surveillance video captured the motorist mowing down a 63-year-old pedestrian before fleeing the scene, authorities say.
The driver of the dark gray Nissan Pathfinder SUV, possibly from 2013 through 2015, was seen on video hitting the pedestrian at 89th Avenue and 120th Street in Richmond Hill at about 8:30 a.m. Sunday, police said.
The SUV then fled eastbound on 89th Avenue.
The victim was taken to Jamaica Hospital in serious condition.
