NYC Street Closures and Where to Watch Fireworks

The Macy's Fourth of July Fireworks will begin at approximately 9:25 p.m. over the Hudson River. Below is some information on where you can see the fireworks and what streets will be closed.

Where to watch:

The fireworks will be visible from the West Side Highway between 14th and 59th streets. Spectators can access the highway along 11th Avenue at 24th, 26th, 28th, 29th, 33rd, 34th, 40th, 42nd, 44th, 50th, 52nd, 54th, 56th and 57th streets. 

Street closures:

Roads will be closed to traffic from 59th Street to 22nd Street on 12th Avenue beginning at 2 p.m. All north-bound traffic will be diverted at 22nd Street to 11th Avenue and south-bound traffic will be diverted at 10th Avenue above 59th Street.
