IRS Raids Gotti Mansion, Queens Car-Parts Shop

The IRS says it has raided a New York City car-parts shop and a Long Island mansion in an investigation involving relatives of the late mobster John Gotti.

IRS spokesman Gregory Tranchina and the U.S. attorney's office in Brooklyn declined to discuss details of the case Thursday.

The Old Westbury mansion was once the setting for the short-lived A&E realilty show "Growing Up Gotti." The show starred the Teflon Don's daughter, Victoria Gotti, and her sons John, Carmine and Frank.

The Daily News says the sons run the Queens auto-parts shop that was raided Wednesday, along with the Long Island mansion.

Attorney Scott Leemon said the Gottis had authorized him to decline comment on the investigation.
