Hearing Planned in Lawsuit Sparked by Chimp Attack

A court hearing has been scheduled for a lawsuit against the owner of a chimpanzee that nearly killed a woman in Connecticut.
    
The family of Charla Nash filed a lawsuit last month seeking $50 million in damages against Sandra Herold, who owned the chimpanzee named Travis that attacked Nash in February in Stamford.
    
Nash's attorneys are seeking an account of Herold's assets. A judge has granted a temporary restraining order that prevents Herold from selling or mortgaging her assets, and has scheduled a hearing for Monday on the attorneys' request for detailed financial information from Herold.
    
Nash lost her eyesight, hands, nose, lips and eyelids in the attack and remains in critical but stable condition at Ohio's Cleveland Clinic.
