Fashion Bonfire Burns Up “LX New York”

If you've ever wanted to burn your hubby's horrible tie or torch your wife's go-to cocktail dress, then check out "LX New York" at 5 pm this evening on Channel 4.

On the second live broadcast of "LX New York" -- NBC New York’s highly-anticipated addition to its daytime line-up -- New Yorkers will get a chance to witness the first "Fashion Bonfire."  The hot new segment asks a couple to reveal what they "hate most about each other’s wardrobe and if they can agree to “burn the ugly,” they will be awarded a unique prize…but, if there’s smoke and no fire, the couple has to trot home in their “uglies” and be witness to a permanent posting on LX New York’s online “Wall of Shame.”

On the opposite end of the fashion spectrum, Ben Aaron will continue his reporting from the trenches of Fashion Week and get a visit from Alex McCord, from "The Real Housewives of New York City." No word on whether he will try to walk in heels again.

Also, making its debut will be "Mommy Dish," during which Megan Meany hosts a group of moms who discuss a hot button issue.

“LX New York” --  which is hosted live five days a week by Sara Gore, Siafa Lewis and Michael Flocker -- features a mix of celebrity guests, in-studio experts, cooking segments and lifestyle and entertainment news in smart, witty and fast-paced segments that take a fresh look at what’s going on in the city that never sleeps and beyond.
