A group of robbers stabbed a man to death during a mugging on a Bronx street early on Wednesday, the NYPD says.
The suspects approached the man on Decatur Avenue in the borough's Norwood neighborhood and attempted to rob him, according to police. When the man resisted, they stabbed him several times in the body and took off.
Authorities say that the man was taken to Montefiore Hospital after the stabbing, where he was pronounced dead. His identity wasn't immediately available.
No arrests have been made.
