Woman Says iPhone, Wallet Stolen by Blind Date at Lower East Side Bar

The woman noticed they were missing after leaving her date a subway station

A woman says her wallet and iPhone were stolen by a man she met on a blind date in Manhattan earlier this month.

Police said the 50-year-old woman went to meet the man on March 9 at a Lower East Side bar. The two had been corresponding online before they met, according to police.

After leaving the man at the subway station at 2nd Avenue and East Houston Street, the victim noticed her wallet and iPhone were missing, police said.

The suspect is described as about 25 to 30 years old, about 6'1" and 165 pounds. His first name may be Hayden, police said.
