New York City authorities are investigating the death of a 5-month-old infant.
Police say they responded to a 911 call of an unconscious baby girl at a Greene Avenue residence in Brooklyn on Tuesday.
The little girl was transported to Wyckoff Hospital in critical condition. She was later taken to Cornell Medical Center where she died on Wednesday.
The city medical examiner will determine the cause of death.
Police say there are no arrests at this time.
No other details were immediately available.
