A man who starred on a Fox reality show will be arraigned next week for torturing and murdering his porn star ex-girlfriend, police said Friday, just a month after fellow reality TV bachelor Ryan Jenkins killed his model girlfriend -- then hung himself.
Brian Lee Randone, who was featured on Fox's "The Sexiest Bachelor in America" and starred as a self-proclaimed preacher on the series, was charged last week with killing ex-girlfriend Felicia Lee during a fight in their California home. If he's convicted, he faces 25 years in prison.
Lee suffered dozens of injuries in the day before she died, Schoonmaker said.
"It appeared to be torture prior to the murder," he said.
Randone appeared in 2000 on the Fox show, on which he competed against contestants from other states to win the title. Randone didn't win the competition.
The evangelist entertainer, who has a bachelor's degree from Moody Bible Institute in Chicago and a master's of divinity degree from Southwestern Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas., spoke on the show about his involvement in ministry and his Christian faith.
"I hope to talk about qualities that are really important, what's inside, such as faithfulness, love, commitment and self-control, the masculine characteristics of a Christian," Randone wrote on a Web site in 2000.
Lee had bit parts in movies "Rush Hour 2" and "The Fast and the Furious" and modeled for Playboy's television channel, according to her Web site. She also performed in adult movies under the name Felicia Tang.
