Helen Sun is accused of handcuffing and biting husband in Fairfield. Now. Before that, she hit him with a table leg, police said.

New allegations in the troubled marriage of Helen Sun and her allegedly handcuffed hubby make Jon and Kate seem like couple of the year.

Sun was accused in March of handcuffing herself to Robert Drawbaugh in their Fairfield home as he slept. It was a bizarre attempt at reconciliation, according to police accounts. That did not work and Drawbaughcalled 911 screaming for help as his wife allegedly bit him.

That was not the first time cops were called to the house for domestic drama.

Sun is accused of beating Drawbaugh with a table leg on Jan. 14 but she was not arrested until June 12, according to court documents.

She is due back in court on Aug. 5 to face second-degree assault charges in that incident, the same day she answers to charges in the handcuffing ordeal.

In the March incident Sun claimed she used the handcuffs since it was the only way she could have a full conversation with her husband, cops said.

She pleaded not guilty to second-degree reckless endangerment, first-degree unlawful restraint, disorderly conduct and third-degree assault.

Drawbaugh filed for divorce in April.
