Saudi Arabia “On Alert” Amid Attack Threats

The Saudi Arabian government put security forces on high alert after getting threats about possible militant attacks on shopping mall or oil reserves, Reuters reported. "There was information about a possible act targeting a mall or Aramco installations," said Interior Ministry spokesman Mansour al-Turki Monday. "We passed this information to the security forces to be on alert." The oil-rich kingdom and the world's biggest oil exporter is leading a coalition that is carrying out airstrikes against Iran-allied Houthi rebels in Yemen. They're also part of the U.S. coalition that has been targeting ISIS, which has taken over large parts of Iraq and Syria.
