British singer Amy Winehouse was admitted to the emergency room at a London hospital, Access Hollywood has confirmed.
“Amy has been taken to the hospital,” a rep for the singer told Access Hollywood.
According to the Associated Press, a spokesperson for Winehouse said the chanteuse was hospitalized after suffering a reaction to medication.

“Amy Winehouse suffered a reaction to medication at home this evening and was taken to the hospital. Doctors have advised that she will be kept under observation overnight and is likely to be released tomorrow,” read a statement released by Winehouse’s reps.
According to the Associated Press, an ambulance took Winehouse her home in north London to University College Hospital.
