Get a Sneak Peek at Victoria Beckham’s New Line, Hitting Stores This Spring

When Victoria Beckham first launched her own fashion collection, many in the industry were skeptical, but the fashion world was quickly impressed with dedication to craft and her eye for classic looks. (Her dresses, and in particular her bags, have proven to be retail successes, to boot.)

For spring, the designer unveiled a new collection with a slightly lower price point called Victoria, Victoria Beckham. The prices may not be "affordable," per se, but with a range between $450 and $1250, they're certainly more attainable for most folks than her main line.

While the dresses in Beckham's main collection are form-fitting and look like the kinds of pieces one wears when one wants to be taken very seriously, the dresses in the Victoria collection are much more carefree. Beckham was initially inspired by the cartoon character Emily the Strange, and the pieces overall have a playful, young aesthetic -- from color-block details to cat prints.

The collection will be available this spring at Bergdorf Goodman and online at Net-a-Porter, and Beckham recently released a sneak peek teaser for the collection, which does  good job of conveying the cheerier sensibility of the line.
